Locum required: November 1-21, 2025

Overview:

  • Patients are referred from their family physician for any MSK or sports-med related complaints. When seen, the physician is required to write a consult report back to the referring physician, similar to any other specialist report you might receive.  Patients are also seen in follow up, many for ultrasound-guided injections. 
  • What you can expect to the workload to include:
  • Follow-up with primary care physician with a clear plan
  • seeing patients in follow up
  • performing injections if necessary (which can be done under US guidance if you feel comfortable with this)
  • triaging consult requests 
  • follow up on results (usually found in the "imported files" or "documents" section on plexia
  • responding to memo's 
  • submitting your own billing 

Physicians must have:

  • Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine
  • Training/Ability to offer ultrasound-guided injections
