Solstice Maternity is a group of family physicians who are passionate about helping families bring their baby into the world. We provide prenatal and postpartum care to any and all people who need it.
Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming space for the family. Solistice Maternity will guide patients through their pregnancy by giving them the tools they need to ensure a happy healthy baby and a happy healthy caregiver!
PRENATAL CARE
We provide patients with preconception counselling as well as all their prenatal care from day one until six weeks postpartum. This includes all routine visits as well as any urgent issues that come up.
LABOUR AND DELIVERY
When baby's birthday comes, a Solstice Maternity provider is at Whitehorse General Hospital to help guide hrough the labour process
NEWBORN CARE
We provide all baby's check ups while in the hospital and up to the time of 6 weeks old. Occasional home visits required.
POSTPARTUM CARE
We provide support including breastfeeding support and education, postpartum checkups, contraception and management of any problems that may arise during the post-partum period.
FAMILY MEDICINE
In addition to being maternity care providers, we are also all family physicians. This means we can help with non-pregnancy related health questions or concerns that may crop up during pregnancy.
