I had the best time. I love that healthcare workers attracted to serving the north are from all provinces, all backgrounds, and share a sense of courage and adventure. Truly the best medicine and people.– Dr. Luo

Dr. Christine Miller is returning home to Whitehorse to join the Yukon medical community.
Having grown up in Whitehorse, Dr. Miller is excited to give back to the community that shaped her. She will be working as a full-time locum, providing care in both clinic and hospitalist settings.
Dr. Miller completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Alberta (Rural Stream in Red Deer), followed by a Care of the Elderly residency at the University of British Columbia.
She has special interest in dementia and cognitive impairment, and is passionate about improving access to care for older adults across the territory.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Miller enjoys making the most of the Yukon’s outdoors—camping, hiking, canoeing, fishing, and skiing.
Dr. Miller’s return is a valuable addition to ongoing efforts to strengthen care for Yukon’s aging population and support accessible, community-based healthcare.
I had the best time. I love that healthcare workers attracted to serving the north are from all provinces, all backgrounds, and share a sense of courage and adventure. Truly the best medicine and people.– Dr. Luo
